    Forest Professional

    Tanya graduated from Acadia University in 2018 with a BSc. in Biology before completing the Forestry Technician program at Fleming College, ON in 2023. Tanya has worked with the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources and Renewables in a variety of roles including as a Wildland Firefighter, Wildlife Park Interpreter, and Forestry Technician assistant for the Hemlock Wooly Adelgid Strike Team in Milton. Originally from Westville, Tanya spends a lot of time traveling across the province to meet with landowners. In her free time, Tanya enjoys birding, board games, hiking and camping.

    Forest Technician

    Liam is a graduate of the Maritime College of Forest Technology, NB where he received his diploma in Forest Technology in 2023. He is also a member of the Nova Scotia Forest Technicians Association and certified in Nova Scotia Forest Ecosystem Classification. Originally from Pictou County, Liam previously worked as an Outdoor Recreation Coordinator for Scotia Glen Camp. When Liam is not cruising woodlots or meeting woodland owners, he is busy instructing students at the Pictou County Forest School. In his spare time, Liam enjoys camping, x-country skiing, and exploring the outdoors.
